This is an exceptional, antique two-piece jewelry suite dating from the late 1920s to the early 1930s. This beautifully preserved set features an ornate, Victorian-revival fringe necklace with perfectly coordinating drop earrings.

The craftsmanship points strongly to early 20th-century Bohemian/Czech workshops, famous for exquisite, airy brass stampings and vibrant glass stones. The metalwork boasts a rich, completely original aged brass patina with deep oxidation nestled in the filigree grooves, proving its genuine age.

Every single glowing, citrine-amber rhinestone across both pieces is meticulously prong-set with original folded metal tabs-not a drop of modern glue. The rhinestones feature vibrant color with crisp, clean backing that captures the light beautifully.

Hardware & Dating Indicators

  • Clasp: Features a period-correct, un-collared vintage spring ring clasp with a smooth, non-ridged thumb pull. This hardware profile explicitly marks production between 1925 and 1935.
  • Construction: The oval-shaped filigree panels are hand-linked together with secure, hand-closed jump rings.
  • Makers Mark: Unsigned, as was standard for the vast majority of exported European brass filigree of this golden era.

Condition

Excellent Vintage Condition.

There are absolutely no missing stones. The brass finish is completely original and free of corrosion. The spring ring clasp works smoothly and snaps shut securely. The earring clips are intact, spring tight and are very wearable. The very top of one earring has a tiny chip near the backing, not noticeable when wearing. SEE PHOTO. This set was stored beautifully away from damp air for nearly a century.
