Circa 1960 Pauline Rader Etruscan Pouch Pendant Necklace & Matching Tassel Brooch Runway Couture Set

For the Couture Collector we have  an incredibly rare, authentic 2-piece parure set by the highly collectible American designer Pauline Rader. This iconic Etruscan Revival set features both the long pendant pocket necklace and the matching standalone fringe brooch.

Rader's boutique operations spanned only two decades (1962-1982), producing small-batch, sculptural runway jewelry for elite New York buyers. Finding an intact, perfectly matched set in this pristine condition is an absolute rarity.

Item 1: Etruscan Pouch Pendant Necklace

• Design: A spectacular, dimensional 2-part cast metal "pocket pouch" pendant decorated with intricate openwork filigree and a classic Etruscan scroll aesthetic.
• Accents: The base features three structured metallic caps cascading into thick, heavy fluid-metal fringe tassels.
• Chain: Suspended from a premium, substantial twisted multi-strand rope chain with a classic secure clasp assembly.
• When being worn, Length is 27” total to bottom of tassels.

Item 2: Matching Statement Brooch 

• Design: Perfectly echoes the shield shape, filigree patterns, and textured design of the necklace pendant.
• Accents: Features its own triple-cluster fluid liquid metal tassel tier.
• Versatility: Has heavy hook that slips easily into a pocket,  looks striking worn on blazers, coats, or heavy knits and won’t create a pin-hole mark.

• Metalwork: Exceptional. The heavy gold-bath electroplating retains its beautiful, deep original luster with only minor color loss in a few areas. See photos as they are part of the description.
• Structural Integrity: Perfect. All original factory solder seals linking the dimensional pocket layers are robust and completely intact. All liquid chain fringes hang evenly and securely.
• Hallmarks: Clear, crisp "Pauline Rader ®" raised oval cartouche stamps are present on the reverse side of both pieces.
